Kay Peters
Kay Peters is a Registered Nurse and earned a Master of Science in Nursing from Widener University. As a RN and Oncology Clinical Nurse Specialist she worked with oncology patients until her retirement. She now practices as a volunteer Parish Nurse at her church in New Jersey. Her poems are formed in familiar waters: family, work, love, some smooth, some stormy.
I have been a lover of poetry since childhood but I did not attempt to write poetry until I retired. As I assembled this collection of poems I was struck by how many included a reference to water in any of its forms or uses. Readers will recognize themes that recur in many lives and may discover a constant that buoys them as well.
