About the Author
Dr. Betty Parson-Coleman is a resilient and
inspirational black woman whose life story is a testament to the power of
faith, perseverance, and divine blessings. Growing up on the west side of
Chicago, she has navigated numerous challenges, always holding onto her belief
in God's plan for her life. As an undercover officer in the Narcotics division
of the police department, Dr. Parson-Coleman has never felt afraid, because she
knew that God was always there protecting her. After putting her daughter
through college, she went back to school at the age of fifty-eight and received
her Bachelor of Science degree in Law Enforcement Management. Through trials and triumphs, she has remained
steadfast, finding strength and purpose in her relationship with God.
