Khalice Jade, also known Saliha Ragad, is an experienced writer and translator, specializing in philosophical, poetic, and lyrical texts. Her work delves into profound themes such as freedom, creativity, art, and solitude, often approached with an introspective and meditative perspective. As a translator, she ensures faithful and fluent translations, while preserving the essence of the original works. Her work reflects a passion for the interconnectedness of ideas and human expression, which she conveys with great sensitivity through her multilingual texts. Additionally, Khalice Jade is a versatile author and renowned anthologist, known globally on social media and a variety of countries to include Russia, Algeria, France and the U.S.A.

In the past, Inner Child Press has facilitated the publishing of several translated works as well as works written in multiple languages. We welcome writers and poets from all over our world to consider utilizing our services to include post-translation editing.
Born and raised in Turkey, hülya n. yılmaz [sic] is a Professor Emerita (Liberal Arts, PSU) with an academic career that spans over 40 years. After earning her doctoral degree from The University of Michigan, she has settled in North America. Throughout her extensive service in academia, she has designed and taught special topic courses involving comparative literature subject matters, including women’s literature and film within the Islamic context, non-Western feminisms, literary reflections on cross-cultural influences in prominent West-European entities, and Sufism and the impact of Rumi’s Sufi poetry on 19th and 20th century German literature. Her substantial experience in literary translations has played (and continues to play) a vital role in her achievements, as well as in lending a voice to writers who are non-native speakers of English, German, and Turkish.
In addition to presentations at national and international conferences, yılmaz has authored a voluminous research book in German, Das Ghasel des islamischen Orients in der deutschen Dichtung. Her professionally seasoned skills in the field of translation, once again, contributed to this scholarly work’s role as a groundbreaking study on the literary influence of the Muslim East on Western Europe, with a concentrated focus on Germany between the 19th and 21st centuries. Similarly, her comparative examination under the lens of Sufism, coupled with a dual-language analysis of Snow, the 2006 Nobel Prize in Literature recipient Orhan Pamuk’s “only political novel” (Pamuk in an interview), enriched not only her invited book chapter, “The Imagined Exile: Orhan Pamuk in His Novel Snow,” but also the prestigious final product, Global Perspectives on Orhan Pamuk (pp. 109-124; Palgrave Macmillan, 2012).
hülya is Co-Chair and Director of Editing Services at Inner Child Press International and a literary translator between English, German, and Turkish in either direction. Like her creative writing, her literary translations also epitomize her three sources of creative thirst – learning, teaching, and writing.
As found on our site’s “Authors” page, yılmaz has authored Trance, Aflame. Memoirs in Verse, this and that, Letter-Poems from a Beloved, My Lifeblood (poems in English and Turkish), Once upon a Time in Turkey, and Bir Zamanlar Türkiye’ de, and has co-authored An Aegean Breeze of Peace.
